Dr. Felicia J. Holloway is an Assistant Professor in the Marriage and Family Therapy Graduate Program at Texas A&M University-Central Texas. A Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist-Supervisor in the state of Texas, Dr. Holloway also holds a Ph.D. in Family Therapy and is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. Dr. Holloway has been an academic for over 12 years and has also provided clinical leadership in a variety of settings, including a community college, community counseling center, and domestic violence survivor advocacy agency. In addition, Dr. Holloway currently maintains a private practice where she focuses on the supervision of emerging clinicians and supporting families navigating parenting issues, trauma, depression, and anxiety. She also has over 20 years of experience serving marginalized families through non-profit social service program management. Dr. Holloway is passionate about helping to make therapy accessible and affirming to marginalized groups, as well as training the next generation of culturally competent therapists. She fervidly executes a research agenda that intentionally focuses on these topics.
