About me
I am a current CMFT Master's student. My professional goals are to teach and mentor future clinicians as a professor in an MFT graduate program and contribute to the field by filling gaps in existing research. Specifically, I am interested in working with and researching couples and families from populations that are traditionally less likely to seek therapy, such as ethnic and racial minorities, men, and those from low SES backgrounds. I hope to better understand and address common barriers to seeking and/or accessing therapy and determine the best modalities and practices for treating these unique and vulnerable populations.
